It is imperative that leaders have a go to document listing issues that need to be addressed if they are elected. I have listed these in order of criticality and priority, and they certainly will require support from other members of Congress. That is not always easy but I do believe that if these issues are addressed and in non-political way we can move forward.
Climate change
The Republican Party has taken a position pf denial ever since Al Gore made the case that global warming was an issue over 25 years ago. Like a stock you have bought that has gone down, sooner or later you have to admit defeat and sell them. I recommend to the Republican Party that they pay attention to all the scientists. Climate change will be my biggest concern. Not that it will be anything easy to reverse. Continued CO2 generation coupled with its’ impact on other factors like methane and the melting of glaciers means we are on track to see a much warmer planet. I have Republican friends that just don’t believe climate change is real even now. They are not technical people. That is why. They refer to someone who says it is just a cycle. Yes, it is a cycle, but this cycle is not going to reverse for perhaps thousands of years. Right now, climate change is going to have and has had an impact on farming in our community. I wish that everyone would pay attention to this. I believe that electric cars are a good thing if we have a real stable source of power. But because our grid could shut down or overload means drivers with electric vehicles are at risk of not being able to get power. I believe the best source of power for United States in the future is tapping into Yellowstone. There is such an incredible magma chamber there that we must seek to extract power from it and concurrently we must mitigate the risks of it exploding. The United States is the biggest generator of geothermal power and if we transition our oil industry drillers to geothermal drillers, we can keep them working while providing CO2 free power for our country. I’m sure many Americans will not like this idea, but our backs are against the wall. We can work to combine power generation with National Park recreational pleasure. Perhaps even create new geysers, We also must research other approaches to cooling the planet from excessive temperatures (geo- engineering). No idea should be overlooked. Implementation can occur on a small-scale basis to avoid the negative possible consequences for a good idea’s unforeseen negative consequences. I plan on overseeing this effort
Medical
I wish to work to create an alternative medical authority to our FDA. I wish to appoint new people for these positions and seek to get approval from Congress for such an implementation. From my own experience with our health structure we have a profit oriented healthcare and not a solution oriented healthcare. This needs to be formally recognized by our government and a bureaucracy created to pursue the alternatives that are out there that will work for very little cost. I am referring to cancer care ($200 Billion/yr), viruses, cataract treatment ($3.4 Billion annually). It should also be mentioned that the covid vaccines were done in haste and should be re-evaluated.

At no time in history has it become more apparent that our people need to have elected officials who fully understand the gravity of climate change. Not only understand it but have the technical skills to evaluate solutions and to work towards implementing those solutions.
The elevating global temperatures of the future threatens our power grid. We must act to reduce CO2 in our atmosphere and to keep our planet at a moderating temperature using geoengineering solutions which will become necessary. We also need to keep our borders under control, and I will work with the other parties to assure our safety.
